Yes. All food and beverage service is provided by our in-house culinary team. We offer a variety of menus ranging from casual gatherings to elegant plated dinners and wedding receptions.

No. Due to licensing, permitting, and insurance requirements, outside food and beverages are not permitted. All catering and bar services are provided through The Pumpelly Estate.

Yes. We offer a variety of bar packages including beer, wine, signature cocktails, and full bar service. 

A signed agreement and non-refundable deposit are required to secure your event date. Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Yes. We are happy to work with clients to establish a payment schedule leading up to their event. Final balances are due prior to the event date.

Absolutely. We would love to show you around the estate and discuss your event vision. Tours are available by appointment.

Yes. We make every effort to accommodate as much guest parking on the property as possible for events at The Carriage House.

Please note that on-site parking is reserved first and foremost for registered guests of The Pumpelly Estate Bed & Breakfast. During larger events, overflow parking may be necessary.

For weekend events, we strongly encourage overflow parking at the DMV lot, located just around the corner from the estate. This short walk helps ensure convenient parking for guests while keeping Front Street open for traffic and emergency access.

As The Pumpelly Estate is located within a historic residential neighborhood, we are committed to being respectful of our neighbors and preserving the peaceful character of the area. We greatly appreciate our guests' cooperation in helping us be good stewards of the neighborhood.

Yes. Outdoor ceremonies may be held in several beautiful locations throughout the property, including our riverside wedding gazebo overlooking the Susquehanna River.

If the event of rain, we will work with you to create a weather contingency plan. The Carriage House provides an elegant indoor alternative should outdoor plans need to change.

Yes. The Pumpelly Estate operates as a boutique bed and breakfast featuring four thoughtfully appointed guest rooms in the historic main house. Many couples reserve rooms for family members, wedding parties, or special guests attending celebrations at The Carriage House.

Yes. The Carriage House was designed to accommodate a wide range of guests and offers accessible entry and amenities for events and gatherings.

A 22% service charge is applied to food and beverage services. This charge helps cover staffing, setup, service, event coordination, and operational expenses associated with your event.
